  • dang..was hoping he would be available for my Vikings...interesting that this projection has the Vikes taking Justin Hunter. Ill definitely take that..

    Honestly though, I don't care where he ends up because regardless, we get to claim him as a Vol when he starts running wild through the league.

    I truly believe the NFL and national media have no idea what's about to happen when he steps foot on the field next year. He's got a HOF skill set. Like none other I've seen in my 27 years of life.

    Edit: PS. I really hope he doesn't end up with the damn Bills... They probably get the worst media coverage of any team in the NFL. I understand it's largely due to the fact that they've been terrible for quite some time now but I just don't like that fit for him. I want better for him.

    lol I love the loyalty and attention to detail RTA! +1 I still don't see it happening but good luck to your dirty birds. They're gonna need a little this weekend. Take it from a Packers fan, Kaepernick is NO FREAKING JOKE! He can and will beat you by himself if you guys don't contain him.

  • It will be really nice to see the Vols getting some positive publicity on draft day as opposed to the last couple years when you just saw a lot of orange chasing other players in their highlights.

    One other thing I noticed on that draft board that I thought was interesting:

    #11. Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan

    This guy is a consensus top 20 pick, and one of the top 2-3 offensive tackles on pretty much everyone's board. He is one of only a couple projected first rounders from non-BCS conferences. He was a two star recruit according to Rivals. He was also recruited by many of the same coaches that are now at UT, and played under them for a year (Jones, Mahoney, Azzanni, Bajakian, Stripling, Elder were all on that staff). I love seeing success stories like this, and even more so when it involves guys connected to the Vols. Good for Fisher, and good for Jones & company for finding him.

    (note: this post is not directed at proving a point to anyone on this board, nor is it intended to stir up another rousing debate about recruiting under the radar players.)

    I agree. Wilson gave us enough headaches as it was. Kaepernick is pretty scary, though sometimes his accuracy takes a hike (if you can make him throw it!)

    This is true. Even at his pro day, his stock will probably climb even more with Bray throwing to him and Hunter.

His measureables will be amazing, but I'm curious how he interviews etc. Not that he's a bad guy or anything, but he seemed kind of aloof. And the whole "not going to classes" thing won't play well with some old school guys (like TT) who think that reflects on their discipline etc.

    OTH, I do LOVE who that NFL.com guy has us drafting... Eddie Lacy... Uhhhh, yes please.

    If we get an interior OL in the 1st round (which we desperately need), I'm hoping Monte Ball is still around in the 2nd round. I think he fits perfectly, maybe even better than Lacy.

  • Would love to see the Titans "sack" up and take a chance on CP but there needs in the secondary may force their hand elsewhere, but Kenny Britt is unreliable and when you look at their receiving core there isn't really any names that just jump off the page at you

  • And its got Denard Robinson listed as a WR, and he is listed higher on the WR board than Tavarres King.

    Not that I expected him to be a QB, just saying.
