Could have been better BUT could have been way worse

  • Dooley left us in a mess. We could have ended up being ranked in the 40s before Butch came in. He saved some recruits that we could have lost (ex. Carr) and got us in the heads of a lot of big time recruits. Lets just stay positive and focus on bringing UT back to glory. 2014 class looks like it can be a big one. But before we get to that, anyone think we add anymore to this 2013 class and who? Thanks for your input! VFL!!!

    Don't believe any big names will sign but i agree with you on the 2014 class. I believe we have a great Coach who know who to get the very best out of his players. Im adding what a steal to get Dobbs he may be our starting qb come next year. Have high hopes for 2014

  • Honestly I'm glad we ended up only taking 21 seeing as we missed out on a lot of our top targets, Jones could have easily had back up plans and signed guys that we didn't really need. This gives us a ton of room to work with in the '14 class especially with Juco's.

    My hope is that we heavy recruit our instate players cause we have alot of talent coming next year instate. My only concern is there is alot of unknowns for our team next year when it comes to who will be our playmakers. May Coach jones be graced with much wisdom.
