Could we get Wes more involved in recruiting?

  • I mean this with only 100% respect to Ryan and Wes. Ryan does an amazing job with recruiting and it is not lacking in any way. But Wes appears to have such a unique personality that he would be great in recruiting articles or doing some video interviews. I think he would bring a different perspective to recruiting. It would also be great to have him on the board responding to posts as frequently as Ryan does. I really believe it would take 247 to a new level. I know Wes is consumed with bball but let's be real...bball is not what brings the fans (especially this year).

    So again, I mean this as a huge complement and thanks again for a wonderful board that makes UT sports fun despite the tough times.

    Anybody with me?

  • With all due respect, I think it is best left up to the 247 staff and managers as to how they utilize their resources.

    We ask questions. We should not try to run their show for them.

  • He made a commitment at the beginning of the year to do less work and relax a little more. I think it's good for him because he used to work practically 18 hour days in the board. Maybe he'll pick it back up later, but I don't mind him getting some relaxation time. He's earned it

    Not trying to run the show at all. I didn't mean for it to come across that way. It's just a suggestion because I really enjoy Wes' articles and his tweets, so it would be fun to have him more involved in the board. I wanted to see if others agreed. If its just me that's fine.
