Cuonzo is

  • Pissed. And he has every right to be. Lost his best player. Scheduled a tough slate. Team didn't play good early but finished great late. And teams who play nobody and have success get in. All this fire Cuonzo stuff is ridiculous. Wait till after next year for that. If I was a player I wouldn't be able to get up for the NIT. Not much . This team worked hard to get better, work through injuries and they got kicked in the nuts. Cuonzo is dead on with what he is saying. Also to you people who are saying we would have got in if Bruce was coach. That is a ridiculous comment and shows ignorance and stupidity.

    V8, the fire Cuonzo is ridiculous. However, folks expressing their opinion about Bruce does not make them ignorant or stupid. It just makes them a fan of the man who took UT basketball places it had never been. So Bruce's shadow still towers over CCM until he steps out from underneath it. That will occur when he takes this team to the NCAA and makes a little run. Then it will become his program. Following an act like Pearl is never easy. We all hope Cuonzo steps up. It starts, for me, with getting control of the team and getting them up for the NIT. They are in dire need of tournament experience and this gives them more practice time as a team. Just my feelings on the subject. GO VOLS!

    I don't understand. If they care who you play, we should be in. We played Memphis and Georgetown.
