Da'Rick Rogers suspended indefinitely, Thursday 8/23

UT just announced that junior wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers "has been suspended indefinitely because of a violation of team rules. His status for the remainder of the season is yet to be determined."

This is the last thing this team needs right now a week before the first game.....he may frustrate me more than any other UT player ever has.

Dooley will address Rogers' situation after this morning's practice, which just started about 45 minutes ago. That's all I can tell you right now.

Yes, one player has that much impact when you're in a situation with a coaching deficit like Dooley/Chaney.

Alright guys, bad start to the day, but let's all breathe a little until we find out details. We don't know much yet, whether this is a game suspension thing when its all said and done or a season thing. Here is what I do know though. In perspective compared to last year, we already at this point are in a better situation. When Hunter went down last year, we had really no one but DaRick. This year we can have CP on the other side, and we have better depth and talent behind them, even though they may be young. We definitely still have some talent to catch this stuff. It doesn't take a way the sting or Darick's impact, but it could be much worse.
