If this was bound to happen it's at least better that it happened now vs next week. They can at least plug in the next guy and get him a weeks worth of game prep. This is the deepest position on the team. I just hate it that we won't get to see the top three on the field at the same time to see what it could have been!

The deepest position on the team is at OL. WR has alot of bodies and maybe talent too, but not alot of experience.

Atleast there are better choices to replace D Rogers than there were to replace Hunter.

  • Every year American college football becomes a more lucrative undertaking for everyone involved. While the athletes may not get paid monetarily (that we know of) they get paid in attention and special perks. And it gets worse every year.

And they continually flaunt this attention and special perks on social media where followers hang on their every word thereby giving them more of the attention they crave. Somehow, this cycle has to stop.

Most highly rated college football players are spoiled petulant children at this point.

    - Spoiled due to coddling they receive
    - Petulant because they expect this coddling
    - Children because...well...they are

As much as it pains me, I hope Dooley takes a hard line against Da'Rick and sets an example. The only way to deal with spoiled children is to show them who is boss.

I understand what your saying, but personally it should not matter what he did he has had more than enough chances to know what to do and what not to do. I really do not care if its as simple as him stubbing his toe on the desk and yelling out F*&* in the classroom I am tired of seeing his name followed by suspended.

I definitely understand that. I am just saying that it isn't our call either way, and we can't really determine the effect it will have on the season until we know what happened and what Dooley decides. I would kick him off almost regardless at this point, but I was speaking mainly about the win/loss season in ruins meltdown.

  • Let's put this in perspective:

Is Da'Rick really good? Yep he is, a game changer.

    But, listen up:

    - We have a depth in that position and a guy a tier below skills wise but with more will, drive and heart than Da'Rick can bring the same results that an uninterested Da'Rick can. Let's face it, when Da'Rick didn't want to play last year, he hurt the team.
    - It could have been worse...it could have been Rivera who is the only TE we have pretty much.
    - We have a nice WR, the Smith kid, on his way...
    - The team is a lot more talented than last year...
    - The team is bonded...
    - The fan support is higher...

and believe it or not...we can still win the same number of games? Why? These guys have each other's backs and I believe they will lean in instead of isolate with this hitting the fan.

    I BELIEVE!

GO VOLS! GO HEAT! GO PHINS! GO BRAVES! And for those who know soccer: GO BRAZIL! GO GRÊMIO!

  • Get him out of here. We have enough talented guys who WANT to be here and WANT to play.

I'll take WANT over talent, especially when it comes to this idiot.
Throwing away his Pro career too!

    I BELIEVE!

Agree with all these points (upvoted you) except for Smith.

Josh Smith is not Da'Rick Rogers.
