While I'm as skeptical as the next guy, I still find it strange he would transfer "down the road" from UT and not closer to home in Georgia. Honestly, I didn't even know Tech had a football team.

If he was looking to go D2, he could have easily come to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and be 15 miles from his hometown. Also, if he's looking for draft status, UTC has had guys picked up in the draft the last two years.

There's something about this that just kind of makes me think possibly he has some remorse, he wants to get his s**t together and maybe come back next year. Not saying it's a hope, dream or prediction. Just saying it could be possible.
