How/Why is he still listed as a UT commit, whether it be a "soft" or otherwise? Sounds like to me he is not committed to anyone.

I think Arkansas will be tough to beat for a couple of reasons. The first is Sam Pittman's relationship with Skipper and the second is that Arkansas can argue that their style of offense and linemen needed to run it (big, strong linemen to block the power run game) fits Skipper's style better than Tennessee, Ole Miss and Ohio State, who all run Zone blocking schemes that support option offenses that favor smaller, more mobile linemen.
