Yeah, he didn't get along with Dooley. That would explain the multiple failed drug tests and multiple conflicts and fights with teammates and coaches. I'm sure the NFL front offices will see it that way. He'll get drafted and probably fairly high, but his actions have consequences and he is about to find that out in his wallet.

I am not saying he does not but I think an arguement could be made that he liked Dooley and appreciated multiple efforts to keep him on the team. It was Rogers who "chose" to leave from some reports. Some reported he refused to take his punishment which was out of Dooleys hands........1 game IIRC.
Anyway......he is not the 1st nor the last elite player that every coach deals with a bit differently than a guy who is not getting PT. Even at the NFL level this happens and Dooley is not at all alone in his efforts to keep elite problem players on his team.....Saban has done it and Spurrier and Meyer and I am sure coaches at ND, Stanford and others do too.
