great news and really good article - just dont understand why any great WR would go to SC as they dont throw the ball enough these days ; got in my opinion one of the best WR in college football and didnt used him very little last year . Kid needs to make his way to UT and have a chance to start year one

Haven't heard any news on Patterson in awhile. Any news guys? Really hoping he does join our class. Would make it that much greater. Also saw Sunseri was the recruiter for Eddie Goldman. Would love to bring him here! Guy is a beast!

Does the fact that he is not visiting USCe eliminate them? Is he mad they waited so long to offer? Or does he know what they have based on it being his "home" school?
Not sure if this is great for us or not based on that... I would love to have him.. Just curious for the guys on the board.. If Rogers comes back mature and Hunter healthy... Would you rather get Patterson for the next year or 2? Or a guy like this for the next 3 or 4?

That is a hard choice, b/c you will have a more early impact with Patterson, but Davis will be here longer. Is there an option C were we get both.

This guy would be a pretty big pickup from where I'm standing. I haven't heard anything on Patterson lately, so this guy would seem to be the type of play making WR that we need to get in this class. BTW, this site is awesome.

Patterson was expected to visit Ole Miss this weekend, and he still has one more official visit remaining. Arkansas still is believed to be in line to get that visit.
I would say Georgia may be the front-runner for Patterson right now, but Tennessee is still very much in the race.

Sorry, If I had read all the post I would have seen this update on Patterson. This board is really awesome like I said in my original post, but being a blind computer user, every site takes some getting use to. Hope you all can hang in here with me, there will most likely be some mistakes made along the way. GBO.

My opinion, Patterson would be the preference and would compliment Rogers and Hunter with experienced receivers for next year. All three would be juniors and with a good season, which may be in their hands, one or more may move on putting the VOLS perhaps a good position to bring in some elite receivers next recruiting class.

I found it humorous that he said Tennessee was one of the best in the conference. If he thinks that now, just wait until we start knockin heads like TN is supposed to do. Would be a great pickup for sure especially now after the transfers.
