We need to have those alums on the sideline during games where the cameras are finding them and pointing them out to a television audience. It is a statement that "I am a VFL".
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.

If the current players will only listen, Antone and the other lettermen can make a major difference in alot of their lives. A very good hire. Thanks AD for coming back.

Perhaps acknowledgement of former players in attendance before the game or@ half time would be in order. I think the fans would enjoy recognition of former players.

He was one of the great players there when I was at UT. Great hire. Love the fact that he wants former players to be more involved.

Great article! I too love Vols247, no comparison to those other sites I use to visit. I have often thought the VFL program was such a smart move givng these young men a resource when facing situations that could yield bad results. Talking to former players/alums adds creditability to the program.
