Watching the Michigan st game and I haven't seen him. Looked up his stats and he only has 3 catches all year. Is he hurt or just not playing at all? Seemed like he was going to be a very good player when he was in the orange.

I had the same thought. Maybe he wasn't nearly the loss we thought he was at the time. Or maybe he was a better fit in our offense than MSU's.

Yeah I really hated to see him go last year. I think he could have been special.

That blame goes on Dooley who let DaRick stay on the team as long as he did.

Arnett struggled all year at MSU. The coach called him out in the pre-season, and he never was able to get out of the dog house/perform in practice well enough to earn playing time.

I think Barnett would have played here but with Z. Rodgers stepping up like he did I am not sure his stats would have been similar here too.

IMO it means Arnett might still be here if Dooley hadn't screwed around with DuhRick as long as he did. That guy was a pain in the , should have been gone the 2nd time he caused a problem. Real shame too, he has natural ability in spades but no brain to go with it. He'll make money in the NFL until teams get tired of his crap, kinda like Randy Moss.

It may be he was overrated coming out of high school. We all know about the star rating system ... it's fallible.

I would have really liked for him to stay in Knoxville. But if the kids dad was sick I can fully understand why he went home.
