You have no favorite boards.
We have to try and stop the run with our front 7. It can be done. Our D-line has been stout against the run, and LSU likes to run right at you. Reuben Randle is a stud, and last year he ran right past Teague for a 60 yard reception last year. We have to play 2 deep safetys, Our CB's are way to slow. You adjust if you are getting gashed but we can't give up a big play early in the game. The crowd has to make an impact. Lee is due for a clunker. As long as Simms doesn't turn it over a lot we will hang.
I'd be alright with the exact same defensive plan that they used last week. I don't think LSU's passing game will be any better than UGA's.
This game depends more on Chaney's play calling, IMO. He has to make sure Simms gets the ball out of his hands quickly.
Agreed cincy +1
The defensive gameplan last week sucked. We can't have no over the top safety on long passes. UGA could've destroyed us had they completed even half of those. Teague and Lanier are snails compared to Randle, Shephard, and Beckum
I'd rather take my chances with Lee connecting on a couple long passes than give up 8 ypc up the middle all game. As you said, Lee is due for a clunker. With any luck Miles will finally screw up with rotating Jefferson in.
