I had to clear my throat a few times just watching Peyton. Tuff, very tuff. I'm hoping a team with good support players will get Peyton so he can win soon. Like the Chiefs, would love for him to go there but who knows. On the other hand, the Colts are going to have some lean years, thats for sure. A great Vol and great person. I'm sure all of us VFLers will adopt which ever team he goes to. I love you Peyton.

I never was a huge, "i love the Colts cuz of Peyton" kind of guy but that press conference choked me up. The guy is a class act

Whoa.

Yeah, I wasn't at all surprised by that. When he started talking about the people he sees every day at the team facility, I immediately thought, "If he mentions the equipment guys and training staff, he's going to get choked up."

Everyone is saying Redskins/Dolphins. I think the best team for him are the 49ers. Young great defense, good running game, and stars locked into long term deals.

I think Irsay is going to regret this both financially and from the standpoint of Peyton mentoring Luck. He just lost a huge marketing opportunity. I know some have compared this to Favre leaving GB but as much as I admire his ability he was never going to mentor Rodgers. Peyton could have gone from starter to QB coach and eventually OC or any number of combinations. Letting him go is shortsighted. Continuity in marketing is the Holy Grail for making money. JMO. The Titans could have this marketing opportunity and they would make millions. Think of the rivalry with them being in the same division. As the retired owner of a marketing/ad agency I am just stunned. Go gettem' Peyton.

Peyton will go to the Dolphins . He is to much of a class act to go to the Jets. After is playing career is over we should hire him to be our QB / OC , we not not ever have to worry where the #1 high school QB would be signing.

49ers and Miami would be OK. Of course if it were Redskins, he and Eli would see plenty of each other on the field. Thanks Watauga for info.

I haven't really been loyal to any NFL team since Marino retired, but I am and will always be a Peyton Manning fan, no matter where he goes. They don't make'em like Peyton anymore, class act from top to bottom.

At first I didn't think the Dolphins would be a great fit but after looking at it I think its perfect. There D is going to be solid. Saturday and Wayne probably follow him and Reggie Bush is the type of back along with Thomas that can really compliment what Peyton does. I think other than maybe Houston the Dolphins make the most sense.
