Tennessee is going to need a couple of top 5 recruiting classes to pull even with talent to the top teams in this conference. until that happens, I don't see an east diviison win. we are jsut way too far back in talent (need a lot more speed and size). Others may develop into elite players but at this point we have Bray, Hunter (assuming he returns to health) and D Rogers. that's it.
I know Maggitt has outstanding speed for a LB but Ford swept around left end yesterday and left Maggitt in his dust. example of how far off the top teams we are...
we need Dooley to succeed. Tennessee doesn't need to get in the cycle of replacing coaches every 3-5 years. We will end up like many programs wandering in the wilderness for years trying to find that coach to lift us up. Don't assume a Dooley replacement will be a rock star. Most likely, will have a similar background as Dooley.

RTTT (sorry, can't quote due to IE version)
where we are with the LSU and Bama teams is where Kentucky and Vandy were with UT in the 90s. Going into those games in the 90s, we knew ahead of time we were looking at 30 or 40 point victories. Now, when we play these top tier SEC teams, it is what we are getting. Going to be several more years to catch up with them.. chances to catch UGA and Florida sooner is there but it will take a lot more talent to catch up
No not at all
I am amazed by some people. Just got to remember their are extremist out there and they don't make the decisions thank god
