Don't our player deserve....

  • More? We always ask our players to stick around. Don't we owe our players the best shot for them to win? Giving them the best opportunity means giving them the best coach and quite honestly it is not Dooley? I hate to say it but I can no longer support him. We ask our players to do better for us, now we have to do better for them and that means a new coach, I hate it but it is time. We have talent but no coaching....

  • Our talent continues to blow assignments, LB's cannot cover and cannot maintain containment while our best CB got outran by a 200+ pound running back down the sideline. Maybe they need to give more to our coaches and to us fans.

    7 games in to the season and we're still making the same mistakes? The coaching staff deserves a lot of the blame they're getting, IMO.

    Maybe so, the guys calling the game seem to think Chaney is a masterful play caller. I think their opinion is probably better informed and less jaded that yours.

  • Well they probably are but lets be honest, their [lay call still sucks and their record does too. Are you happy with what you have seen? I have tried to be? Jaded and dumb are two different terms, thanks though?

  • Play calling wasn't perfect, but Chaney didn't drop that pass with 11 sec to go in he first half. Don't our coaches deserve better?

  • Well, I see your point, and yes, maybe I am just dumb? But I doubt it. Lets be honest I like Dooley but what is happening here i awful.

    On 3rd and 1, do you try a pass for 20+ yds or do you run it twice for one yd, the way Lane was running....well, you know what I'd do. Chaney's biggest problem is patience, he gets to antsy with his play calling sometimes. But I do think there's plenty of blame to pass around to the coaches and players.

    I am not either, I was really asking those who think we should - if the players are failing us too, shouldn't they be relieved of their positions as well?

    I agree get the first down as soon as possible that is a big one imo. I do see that is he completes that pass (which based on earlier throws it was not going to happen) but if he does that could have been the 6 we were needing.

    That said I like seeing AJ get the ball and all but the Beast Package is predictable to a point, you can't go to that well too much. I like having an option of pass from that and I don't know but thought Pig could throw the ball, can CP? or for that matter can AJ? He seems to always go to his right and I have said I like seeing him get the ball but we got to build off that play to have some change of pace to keep it from being stopped.
