I'm more worried about the NC State game at the moment. Losing the first game of the year against a quality opponent would be devastating for a team that was very unstable emotionally last season. This NC State game in my opinion is the most important opener since at least 2006 (Cal game coming off losing season) and maybe even longer than that. It's definitely one of the top five most important openers in Tennessee football history.

The offense was committed publicly. The punishment should be as well. Enough of this stuff behind the curtains.
I'm pretty sure the DA or Judge doesn't dole out punishment to folks not charged with anything.

An apology and offer of restitution sure goes a long way towards appeasement. I'm not taking up for his actions, they were stupid at best. Typical behavior for that age is stupid at best. Just saying he did take responsibility for his actions. Not typical for that age.I am also the father of 4 kids ages 19-27. I am well qualified to tell you that good kids do stupid things.
