Derek Dooley can't spend as much time with his players during the summer, but UT's football coach is pleased with the reports he's heard about the Vols' offseason workouts.

The team chemistry seems to be getting better. I just hope Tyler has stepped up as reported and is proving to be the leader for this team. A lot of potential if everything comes together and the ball bounces our way a few times, we haven't had lady luck on our sideline in a few years. GO VOLS!!!
This is the season of the year where upperclassmen, and specifically Seniors, are crucial. Glad we're finally getting a little better in that department.
I have a good feeling about this team and our team leaders will emerge with players like herman lathers and if the reports our right also tyler bray which will make a huge difference this year
excited about this year and the fact that we dont have to play Ark , LSU and aTm is really good news
I only hope Dooley will continue the hands off into the season. He hired those guys (his staff) to coach. His coordinators should be running the team in the fall and Dooley needs to let them run it. (Example: Stop the ridiculous 4th down calls that backfire on us.) Be a cheerleader and leave the players on the field alone. We might actually win a game or two.
