Although I detest how many winnable games we lost during his tenure, I think that with a year off to possibly do some media broadcasting, he could figure out what he screwed up with us and end up being a solid coach in another conference.

I think he was very good at building a roster/program, bad at coaching and hiring coaches. My recommendation to him is to spend time improving the ladder, and I think he could be the type of coach to make a non BCS school very very good.
