The NFL Draft is completely different. We're talking about a game on CBS while many other games are also being televised.

To clarify ... I don't see any negative at all. I also don't see any short term (2-3 years) advantages. I can go along with the longer term, though.

It would also be interesting to know how many recruits actually watch games on television. I'm not sure how many do. Ryan, do you know from your conversations with recruits? Do they actually sit down and watch college football games, including pre-game, half-time, and post-game analysis? Or, do they flip the channels to different games during those times? Or, do they opt to play XBOX, PlayStation, instead of watching the games? I'm sure some do watch, while I'm sure others don't.

I remember hearing about one of our top recruits last year was at the mall with his friends while the Alabama/Auburn game was on television. It surprised me, but he obviously didn't have the interest in watching the game, even though Bama was near the top of his list.
