Dooley should go for putting Bray back in, not benching him

  • Just my two cents, but I think CDD benched Bray because he saw a repeat of the Kentucky game. Bray just doesn't bring it some times, and up to that point he was inaccurate and confused (most likely because he had not done the prep that goes into competing at an SEC level).

    To build a winning culture, you need a coach willing to make tough choices and penalize performance/attitudes that do not meet a certain standard. I think sticking with Worley would have been the bold choice, and I don't think CDD is capable of making bold choices.

    247 needs to take a look at the dv system. It has not been a problem until the last couple of weeks. DVs are now making the site less enjoyable. The ignore function is a better tool.

    I know I've hit the dv button by accident a couple of times. I gave yo both an uv to make up for it.

  • Dooley doesn't manage players well. His issues in handling Bray and alot of other players at UT and La Tech began way before the second quarter of his last game.

  • I agree 100%. Worley looked sharp.....delivered the ball decisively, looked off the DB's, went through his progressions, etc. The INT was on CP, IMO. I would have at least let him start the 2nd half after taking us to a FG to end the half. Honestly, at least for last night, he looked a lot better than Bray, and it surprised me that he hit 51 on the radar gun. I think he can be a very solid QB for us in 2013 and 2014.

  • agree 100%.. If you are going to bench him, bench him.. Bray checked out of that game as soon as he got pulled and he never got it back together...
