IF he's found guilty I don't see how he stays on the team. I hope for the best, but I expect the worst. In Dooley I trust.

Sometimes "Kids" dont realize the extent of the consequences of their actions. If this is true, Cam just let alot of people down, and potentially ruined his career over a few bucks. This risk was definately no where near the reward. Increadibly selfish... If true

This is really bad news. I hope he didn't do it, but doubt if KPD would arrest him if they didn't have clear evidence (sorry for bad pun).

This..if it was a petty shoplifting charge it may get swept under, but if it turns out to really be other teammates things then it may not end well

If he's kicked off the team he will get another shot somewhere like another Cam....as in Newton. If you recall, he stole a pretty nice laptop from some kid's dormroom while at Florida.

It worked out for him, but some people never respond. Nu'keese comes to mind as one that didnt. Thats why I included the caveat "potentially". It may be easier for a game changing qb, than a TE.

I hate this for Clear. I hope he is innocent, not just not guilty. If, as suggested, he is really involved in stealing items from teammates, it won't matter if they can't make a case and charges are dropped, it's downgraded to a misdemeanor or any other resolution. It will be very difficult for his teammates to trust or respect him ever again. His only chance to stay on and be a productive member of this team is for him to be cleared of the charges.
I just hope that no other players are involved in any way. That would have the potential to divide the team.

These allegations, most likely, stemmed from previous incidents cited during spring practice, or whenever it was. It sickens me that he had to do this during the school year. Those guys are given everything they need and more. I wish UT paid my way.. If anything though, he could have taken out a loan through though financial aid and would have been fine.

Where there's smoke there's fire. If it stays a felony charge then it is out of there hands. If reduced then Dooley and the team should make the decision.

He is a nice talent, but not essential to the season, there are others who can fill his role. Hope he was just being a stupid idiot holding stuff for a friend, but then that would make you wonder who that could be. Might be best to hope he is the only one involved....just dont see this ending well.
