Dr.Jerry Punch thinks Hart has made his hire

Says there is literally no buzz about UT contacting any coaches and that leads him to believe Hart has his man,
Hiss words not mine. he is on with Hyams and Wilkerson on 990 the Animal right now

already made the hire..? without going to the coaches convention in NY..? Without w/r/k having any idea..? This is just rank speculation by a race car analyst. Appreciate the post GV, but color me skeptical about that.

There is a connection here with ESPN, Punch lives in Knoxville, and is a former college football sideline reporter. He's more than just a race car analyst, IMO.

I heard same words out of Dr. Punch and I am leaning towards Gruden being the man is what i got out of his comments imo.

no, i know he's a former college football reporter, but at this point he knows nothing more than anyone else and is reading all the same stuff we are. The fact that he hasnt heard any "buzz" is meaningless. The underlying assumption is that Punch would be in the loop to hear any "buzz" on UT's coaching search above and beyond guys like Wes who are waist deep in this story. There is one source and one source only that i trust, and thats 247 and Wes Rucker. When i hear Wes tell me we have a hire, ill believe.
