  • You really want to talk about us? Y'all lost to NC State who we blew out and y'all were suppose to be in the national championship picture?? I guess that's that weak ACC for ya.. And Northern Illinois gave y'all a fit until the 4th get out of here with that weak stuff

Forgotten all about that game since we won it all the next year.

Finally got to play a weak Big East team that had a QB and nothing else going for them.

Noles = Consistently doing less with more in the ACC (ALL CUPCAKE CONFERENCE).

The fact that you guys didn't play for it all this year is a testament to the just how crappy your team is.

FSU football died in 1999, so I don't understand what your bragging about. The University of Ithaca could slip up and win 10 games in the weak ACC conference, atleast once every decade.

We played in the national championship in 2000 and had a heisman winner as well. Was it dead then?

The Heistman is a popularity contest, nothing more and nothing less. And you lost that game because you were FORCED to play a real team. So yeah, still dead even if you did win it all in the ALL CUPCAKE CONFERENCE.

  • As a Miami fan it is hilarious that these tennessee fans think they are flipping the FSU commits. I read every year on who Tennessee will flip. And very few times does it occur.

What value, exactly, does the University of Tennessee bring to the SEC?

And an athletic program that's consistently top 5-10 in Director's Cup despite barely cracking top 25 athletic budget and small number of teams... Does pretty well.

When was Tennessee's last BCS bowl win? How did you get Internet?

I don't think there's anyone that considers Tennessee better as a football program, an athletic program, or anything better than FSU. Saban and Meyer winning 6 of the last 7 championships (Miles won his with Saban's players) doesn't make Tennessee anything better than a small fish in a big pond.

I never said UT was some world beater. The members of this board are merely talking about whether or not UT has any chance. I don't see a single post saying it's a done deal, or we flipped anyone. They're asking the question, can UT flip them. Then the F$U goon squad started playing in their own shit. It's your fan base that has come onto this board and started beating their chests and their wankies like some ape at the zoo.

I merely pointed out that your team is one of the few to consistently do less with more.

Back to the thread, so what is the % you guys would put on flipping Levenberry and Bellamy

Bellamy recently said that it would take a lot for a team to make him back out on his pledge to FSU. So, based on that, the chances have to be less than 50%. But he's on campus, so you never know for sure. It's impossible to say what kids will decide. I'm aware that UT hasn't been great lately, but they still have a lot to offer a kid who visits...and that's not debatable. Ultimately though, based on what we know right now, I'd say Bellamy ends up at FSU. I'd say the same for Levenberry until he visits. If he does visit, you never know. If he doesn't, obviously it'll be FSU.

Well, by all means start throwing pooh. Unleash the hounds of war because a UT Fan happens to think we could possible flip a F$U commit. You do realize how stupid this defense of the chimps is, right?

    1998 23-16

This post says it all regarding the state of Tennessee football: 1998. The one hit wonders.

How many coaches turned down the Tennessee position this year? Charlie Strong wouldn't even leave Louisville for position. Instead, you have to settle for Brian Kelly's lackey; the Brian Kelly who lost 42-14 to arch-rival, Alabama.

Good luck bowling next season. 3rd times the charm, right? Good luck with UF next year. Maybe you'll beat them one of these decades.

The next time you beat us in a recruiting battle will be the first time. Cheer up, things can only improve for your program (they can't get any worse).

News Flash: not only has Tennessee never won that mythological cup (about as legitimate as FSUs claims that the ACC is a competitive football conference), but the program hasn't even merited a ranking in those standings in recent years. You might want to learn the facts before replying next time...

Yeah... FSU has certainly flourished the past decade themselves.... How many conference titles has FSU won compared to Virginia Tech since they joined the ACC?
