I'm worried about the young guys being disciplined enough to face GT. It's just, if you miss your assignment against GT it's a first down or even worse a touchdown

I don't think it matters. If he wins a bowl game, it's a successful win. With everything that has gone wrong (youth, injuries, etc...) I'm happy with any bowl win!

I'm not trying to be a downer right now, but we are not even in the national picture. If we get a bowl win though, it will help with confidence for next year and recruiting for sure!

Either will help us for 2012 learn how to defend the edge and be disciplined and aggressive. I like a challenge like this that makes us really improve.

The reason UT struggled against AF in 06 is because you really can't prepare for the triple option in less than a week. Look at what Ga Southern did to Alabama last week. That is why so many teams struggle with GT unless they have a bye week before or GT turns the ball over. Every time GT has played in a bowl under Paul Johnson they have gotten run out of the building. I think UT would fair pretty well against GT with a month to prepare. GT has an awful defense, and a healthy Bray throwing to Da'Rick would make for a long day for the Yellow Jackets. Virginia is a good football team, if they beat VT they will play Clemson for the ACC championship, and UNC will be coachless at the end of the season. I think GT would be the more noteworthy win between the three though. Unless UVA goes to the ACC champ game.

Where did ga tech come in? I have heard NC state southern miss. (idk where that came in) and Wake Forrest. The general consensus seems to be Wake Forrest
