I don't know about the other sports, but I think that the "clipping of the wings" of the panel that had caused so much trouble for UT football academically (and fiscally), has done as much or more than anything. The recruits started rolling in and momentum building right around the time (or right after) than panel was significantly reduced in size and scope (and a message sent that their ruining of the program would no longer be tolerated). The academic requirements imposed back in 2003/2004 (that UTs competition does not have) brought down a HOF coach and nearly the whole UT football program. Those same people sucked al the money out of the AD as well. Now, steps have been taken to roll that back and good things are happening. Coach Jones is the man for the job, the training facility is done (or about done), and recruits are taking notice. Let's win some games this year and keep it going.
