-If he wanted the recruiting coordinator title so bad, he should have landed a 4/5 star RB.
-Society today is full of 'give me a title'-type characters who don't want to earn titles, they just want to be given them. These people exist not only in football, but in business as well.
-Jay Graham loses credibility when he talked about what a fantastic opportunity it was to come back to his alma-mater and be a coach, then doesn't want to put in the work required to earn the recruiting coordinator title, so he goes elsewhere.

+1 I agree with you 100% I didnt hear anything from Ainge but his emotional side of it for effect. To me Graham made a business move, happens every day!!

The only question you need to ask yourself is why was Zach Azzanni going to make more than Jay Graham next year. Total disrespect shown towards one of the best coaches and recruiters on the staff.Who wouldn't be looking for an exit under the same circumstances.Put it this way how many of you would be happy if your employer fired everybody in your department but you, but then hired a whole new staff and made you the 2nd lowest paid person in the department.

That's not really a fair comparison. You should phrase it like this; "how many of you would be happy if your company lost tons of money for 3 years and then they hired a new CEO to run it who has made 2 other companies very profitable and then the new CEO fired the rest of your department but allowed you to stay on without cutting your pay at all." See doesn't that seem more accurate?

Also Zach Azzanani is a great recruiter and has just come from a great program in Wisconsin. I think he has earned a great deal, as have most of CBJ's staff because he brought them with him from winning programs.

Jay Graham should have been the highest paid non coordinator on that offensive staff, it is that simple. None of those coaches are better than him or have a better reputation in the south than him. Real hard for me to believe no other coaches approached Jay about jobs before FSU, but he stayed out of loyalty to the university during the transition.

Zach coached Wr's at a running school and coached 1 year at Florida, he is no better a coach or have a better resume than Jay. If I was Jay I would have felt disrespected and I think it is safe to say he did as well.

If you want to be a highly paid coach you need to have a resume of wins, it's that simple. Graham is a great recruiter, no doubt about it, but unless your kid is a 5 star recruit I don't think you are in any position to be the judge of reputations of recruiters whom you've only known about for 2 months. Plenty of good recruiters on this staff. If CJG wants to be at FSU that's his choice and he will be missed but I don't know if in the big scheme of things it was a huge loss.
