Jimbo won't let him call the plays... From what I've read, he was paid $390k a year to coach TEs and formulate game plans, but not call the plays. He turned down the KY OC job in December, and Miami offered a half million.
I understand what you're saying though, with the NCAA looming sanctions...

maybe cause the NCAA just shot itself in the foot on their "investigation" of the U...too busy tracking down the real criminals out there giving hot dogs to recruits..

I am not sure but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While the rationale might be different, many could ask similar questions about our program. IMO, both programs have seen better days. (Btw, I'm not bashing your post, just giving my thoughts on the subject...) GBO!

I was hoping it might help with the QB Franklin. But maybe instability will help us with the other two also.

Not sure if you saw this but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a slap on the wrist. Who knows how much of what they found against Miami was found illegitimately. .
