Ryan any idea if the coaches think this kid can come in and play now, or are we looking at a year or so in the weight room before we really see an impact? I know that he could come in and play on ST, but I'm talking more about LB play. Either way, seems like a smart kid who could grow into something good. I love signing wrestlers. Those guys undersand leverage and points of atack.

Great news Ryan. This is a welcome addition to the 2012 class and is a tribute to how hard our coaches have and are working. The lure of the SEC was just too much. Sorry to our Bearcat friends on losing this one. We sympathize with you. GO VOLS!

He certainly isn't the fastest LB in the class, but he doesn't need to be in a 3-4. He does need to gain 20 pounds, though. Ryan is definitely right -- there is playing time to be gained in there. But he really needs to add at the very least 15 lbs before the season. If I'm not mistaken, he played the season at around 225 and is just down to 217 because of wrestling. Didn't you report that, Ryan?
