IF the thread was "what is my favorite kind of ?" I would say a big, tall, cold glass of it after we beat Bama.

Three Floyds is definitely my favorite brewery that we have access to. Gumball Head, Zombie Dust, and Panzer Wolf are great APAs/IPAs. In fact you probably won't get any better unless you can get your hands on some Pliney the Elder from Russian River in CA. I live in Lexington, KY now so we're spoiled with a number of craft brew bars. In KTown, Bearden Beer Market always has great beers on tap and a somewhat decent selection.

Sammy Smith's is also hard to beat. They just came out with a Chocolate Stout, if you're into that sort of thing. Not a session beer, but tasty nonetheless.

Highland Brewery out of NC is pretty good too. Calf Killer, Thomas Creek, and Foothills are also good. Find them on line and you can get them at Bearden Beer Market sometimes.

Hey was just joking around man. Believe me I'd be the last person to turn down cold, yellow and free.

Yuengling is great, oldest brewery in America.

I am not a beer snob at all. I drink anything. Usually, i'll drink bud light lime if i'm at home b/c it's cheap and plentiful ( I think it tastes like Corona with a lime, which I love at the beach. Drinking the bud light lime reminds me of vacation). Other than that for casual drinking, i really really like Guinness and Killian's Irish Red. I also really like Moose Drool.

And, obviously, I'm a big fan of micro brews. so, yea.

You are so right. Once you develop a taste for IPAs and other more exotic varieties, light beer has little or no taste (and frankly, very little alcohol).
