I am praying they sign Robert Meachem this off-season.!

well being a Dallas Cowboy fan I have to chim in on this to counter your Washington Redskins.

Believe it or not the Cowboys are not as far away as many might think.

  • I love watching the NFL games, but I claim no favorite. I usually pull for whomever has the most former Vols on their team.

  • I hope you know, i just flipped you off. And, much to my chagrin, i do agree. There is a lot of talent in Dallas, especially on that coaching staff. Now, it is all about developing that defense, and staying healthy on offense.

I think he was limited a lot by Mularkey. I never understood why we went to Turner and Gonzales so much, when we had two deep threats in Roddy and Julio....If we can make some improvements on the line, I feel like Ryan could have a great year slinging it all over the place.

I wish i could see Ryan in a Sean Payton system. I am curious to see if it has been the system, or the quarterback holding back the progress. Julio Jones and Roddy White should make everybody cringe, that is a heck of a one/two punch.

Huge Josh Freeman fan, really hoping they can get it turned around. Their top 5 pick can go a lot of ways. I would not be shocked to see Richardson go there.

    For my money,

Redskins and Cowboys are the best rivalry in the league, but of course i am partial.

Ewok', I agree that the Cowboys and Redskins are a fierce rivalry, but the Vikings vs Packers is a very heated border war that also brings out the best intensity in both teams. I still chuckle every time I think about Randy Moss "mooning" the Packer faithful at Lamblow!

MINNESOTA VIKINGS! Been a fan since the 1970 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. I was 7 years old and had not started following the NFL yet, but watched a "60 Minutes" clip on the Super Bowl and it had a segment on Joe Kapp. He was muddied and bloodied after losing the SB and I felt sorry for him. I also loved the horns on the helmets.

Then I learned about the "Purple People Eaters" the very next season and I was hooked for life! SKOL VIKINGS!

Thats awesome! I've liked the Vikings since I was 5, since Wade Wilson was QB. Everyone thinks im crazy since im from TN. My dad was a fan since Joe Kapp and I just watched them with him. Thats how I became a fan.

CoachC, I feel your pain! There is always next season and Peterson is on schedule to come back strong and I'm thinking we may have something in Ponder once he gets the benefit of a full off-season workouts and camp. The draft and free agency is key to next year! Need a game changing WR, an OT that can give Ponder some time and some help in the secondary. With Peterson, Ponder & Percy, the offense has the potential to be explosive! Kinda sounds like another favorite team of mine . . .

I agree! I would love to get Justin Blackmon or that big receiver at A&M in the first round, but I think we will go after Kahlil...I'm not sold on frazier as HC though. I'm still pissed at him for having Adrian in the end of that meaningless game last year when he got hurt.

  • I think we Falcons fans are just a little stunned by how the season ended, being totally shut down by the Giants. I still think we are close to being a championship contender, just need a few more pieces. The offensive line was a big disappointment this year. Just like the Vols, I can't count how many important drives ended because we couldn't get a yard on third down despite having Michael Turner. We also need a better pass rush. Free agency hasn't helped much there.

As for Julio, I think he was kind of a late bloomer. They expected more production from him, but he never seemed to get open until late in the year. Don't worry about Matt Ryan; he is going to be just fine.

Julio had 489 of his yards in the first 6 games, so i think late bloomer is a wrong term for him. It is true that his touchdown production was more towards to the end, but he established himself early: he had 71 yards his first game, 115 his third, and 127 his fourth.

I think they have lacked offensive identity every since they have draft Ryan. It almost seems like they cannot decide if they wanted to be a pound the rock type of team, or an air it out type of team. The defense has some potential, and i think the cord will help. To me, they have to figure out what they will do with the running game, and establish an identity. If they decide to air it out more, i love where they are going.

I hope they resign Harry Douglas. Douglas, White, and Jones are great at the Wideout spot.
