Favorite Tailgate Spot on Rocky Top

We have been tailgating beside the Lake Avenue Garage in a nice grassy area behind Wendy's on the strip for a few years now and really enjoy it. I prefer the green space tailgate to a parking lot tailgate but that's just me. We park in the Lake Ave garage so it makes it very easy to set up and break down. Its convenient to the strip and not a bad walk to the stadium. Where are y'all tailgating on game days?

We had our tailgate in the UT Federal Credit Union lot behind Children's Hospital last season. Met a lot of great people and it's fairly easy to get in and get out once the game is over. It is a pretty good haul to the stadium though....

We tossed this around last year, but we are going to make it happen this year-A govols247 tailgate. So this thread my have some great ideas where to have this.

Circle Park is by far my favorite. Tree cover really comes in handy early in the year. G10 is fun too, but really, really hot early in the season.

I used to tailgate on 13th st in my friends parking lot, but she doesn't have it anymore. I like watauga's idea with a 247 tailgate somewhere.

There's no reason why we can't have a 247 tailgate every week. Just name a location and make it BYOB. That way no one has the responsiblity of bringing food and drinks and collecting money. It'd be fun to just socialize.
