Favorite UT Legends: Quarterback

Each day this week I'll start a thread where we can talk about our favorite UT legends at a particular position. We'll start with the most prominent -- and perhaps predictable -- spot on the field: quarterback.
This thread is about more than merely naming our favorite. If that was the extent of it, 90% of us would say Peyton and move on. Instead, let's go deeper -- what was your favorite game that QB played? What stories about him will you tell your kids? Do you have an unconventional favorite UT QB -- Jerry Colquitt or Dewey Warren, perhaps?
I'll start: While Peyton stands out for so many of us, my favorite Tennessee quarterback is Heath Shuler. His versatility and lightning-quick improvisational skills were dazzling, especially to a young UT fan like I was at the time. My favorite moments: Drowning Florida in the downpour in 1992 and watching him end Alabama's win streak in 1993 (albeit in a disappointing last-minute tie).

Mine is Andy Kelly. He got UT back on top in the late 80's.

Sterling Hinton and Kelly were battling it out in 89. Kelly won the job and went on to win 2 SEC titles.

Robinson was injured in the 'Bama game and did not finish the year. Dickey did.

I am probably in the minority on this, but I loved when Casey Clausen was leading UT in the early 2000's. Casey was the ultimate competitor and gave everything he had for UT. I actually loved the California persona that he brought to the table as well. He walked and talked like he was the baddest man on the field, told you he was going to win, and he went out and did it. I think the rest of the team fed of his personality.
4th and 19.....Overtime.....At Alabama.....Casey throws a strike to get the first down and ultimately win the game. I will never forget that, nor will I ever forget the 2001 game at Florida.

Casey Clausen aka The Iceman. Never thought he got the respect he deserved. 2-0 in The Swamp says it all. Too bad he put that damn rose in his mouth after the 2001 game and jinxed us in the SECCG.

Peyton. He was the first big name recruit that I recall hearing about before he came to the school. He just always seemed so positive and humble in interviews. I really enjoyed watching Shuler play also, but Peyton is my favorite. He has also been a great ambassador for the school ever since his playing days.

I'm with you on this one, probably in the minority but Casey Clausen is my favorite.

Where is Bray on the list? He is one of the best and worst QBs in UT history. His stats are second to only Peyton, but he didn't beat ANYBODY.
