The final play of Wes Brown's UT career in Neyland Stadium vs Vandy. Wes intercepted the ball around the 10 yard line and began lumbering towards the end zone on his two surgically repaired knees . Within seconds, at least one, if not more Vandy players caught him and latched on for a ride. He was dragging them for at least 5 or 6 yards as he lunged into the end zone. It wasn't a game winning TD or anything, but it was special. Brown was, and is, a true VFL.

I was 13 and at the Florida game in 92. It was raining so hard my mother and brother (10) went under the stands to seek shelter. It looked like a river coming down the concrete steps. I could not see the play when it begin only Mose running out of the rain towards me! That is why it will always be my favorite play!

It didn't clinch a championship, but my favorite Vol moment to this day was the Artful Dodger's game winner against Clemson my freshman year, 1974. We score very late in the game and trail 28-27. There's no overtime in those days, and Coach Battle plays to win. We go for two.
I've read since that it was designed to be a running play, but Condridge starts to scramble, as he was apt to do. The play seemed to last forever. I swear Holloway was at the 30 yard line before he cut it loose as he is finally being slammed to the ground by Tiger defenders.
Deep in the north end zone, my old high school mate Larry Seivers, the best set of hands to ever play at Tennessee, went up and made a circus catch.
Give him two! Final score, Tennessee 29, Clemson 28.
