Eric Berry's pick six against Tebow his freshman year. Also Eric Berry clobbering Knowshon Moreno!

+1 BOF7. I love the defensive highlights! I wish I could find some film on Reggie White vs LSU in Neyland. He lived in their backfield and practically destroyed their QB and RBs. If I remember correctly, on one play he tackled both the QB and RB during the hand-off!

"Old School"! A strong defense wins championships!

  • Favorite play not seen in person: Deon Grant one handed pick against FLA (I forgot what year it was)
    Favorite play seen in person:
1a. Hardesty Chick-Fil-A bowl against Virginia Tech.. TD run where he broke a lot of tackles (was just fun to see in person)
1b. Wilhoit 50 yarder against Florida (fun to experience).. I swear to this day I believe Neyland shook when it went through

  • I know I'm a little late to the party but one of my favorite Vol memories is the way John Henderson and company manhandled UGA in 99 or 2000. I'm a defensive guy and I always refer back to that game and tell my wife that I actually felt sorry for Quincy Carter in that game. I have never seen a single player take as much abuse as he did in that game. It was awesome!

I was at the Chick Fil-a Bowl that year too. Sat right behind the Vols bench, front row, 50 yard line. Got some great pics of Eric Berry (his last game) and other Vols too. One of the things that I remember most about that game was how big Aaron Douglas was... He will ALWAYS be a Vol to me...

  • The Goalline stand vs. Auburn (1998) was epic!
