Based on the limited information we have, I say Hart set up an interview with Larry Fedora in New York even before the season was over. This has been in the works for sometime.

I think Strong deserved an interview and his latest remarks about Louisville fans indicates he's gone ... but not to UT. He wants the UT job, but Hart told him he was going to talk to "others" and would get back to him. The "others" is Larry Fedora. All the other names were smoke, to keep the media chasing until Hart and Fedora were ready to go public.

My hunch is that Fedora has been on Hart's mind for a long time. If the interview in New York goes well, Fedora will be announced our new head coach Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.

Even though he runs a different offense, I couldn't help but wonder if some "secret signals" were sent -- probably through Hart -- from Fedora to Pittman, Hinshaw, Chaney and Graham to stay put. We shall see.
I predict Larry Fedora will return Tennessee to its rightful place among the nation's elite football powers. Rejoice Vols ... I say rejoice!
