Glad to hear he is sticking with us.

Shouldn't we be looking a little higher than 3 stars? Not trying to be negative, but I'm thinking to compete with the SEC, we might need to shoot a little bit higher.

i can't name any in perticular but i'll bet we've had plenty of 3 star QBs come into neyland stadium over the yrs. and give us fits.
i wonder how many stars troy's QB had coming out of high school.

Johnny Football at A&M was only a 3 star

Johnny Manziel was rated a three-star prospect by most recruiting sites - 247Sports had him as a four-star prospect, for what it's worth - and he certainly turned out fine.

Now he's Johnny "Heisman" and glad he's part of the SEC.

Johnnie Football was a three star comming out of HS and he turned out pretty well.

I went and watched this kid play in person. He is a pretty exciting kid. I wouldn't get caught up in the stars. I watched him throw a 45 yard TD pass that landed in the receiver's hands. The thing I was most excited about was his leadership on the sidelines. He was always coaching up his team mates, patting them on the butt, and keeping them focused. I spoke with his younger sister and she was explaining how Riley couldn't wait to get to the University...

Watch Isiah Pead run the ball in the NFL, he was a beast all but one game last year and he still topped 100 rushing on us with i think a 70 yarder. I dont think that is the same offense he's got planned for us, but certainly some variation of it. I'm ok with it for now, the fact he says prostyle as well makes me think we will be fine and have multiple offensive sets. Which if you ask me is great, since we've been in the pistol for 3 years and nearly every time the RB was lined up offset and a step behind the QB it was a run play.
