A five-star safety from Virginia Beach, Va., who's ranked among the nation's top prospects in the 2014 class says there's a chance he will visit Tennessee's campus soon.

Good to see that this staff continues to get after the top recruits in the country. I really believe with a good season this year we will start to see them signing top ten classes on a consistent basis. They are getting the kids interested, now they just need to show them we know how to win and compete for championships.

Blanding already looks like he's about 20 years old and in great physical shape. Our coaching staff continues to get the Vols name in the hat for top talent. There's a lot of names in that hat but with a good impression on his visit maybe a few names can get tossed out. Thanks for the info Ryan. GO VOLS!

If/when he takes an official visit to Tennessee, guessing that Justin Hunter would be a good person to host him.

I live north of VA Beach. Would it be unethical, or more importantly against NCAA recruiting rules, to go to this kid's games and bring attention to myself by cheering really loud, just for him?

Any direct contact you have with a prospect, assuming you didn't have a prior relationship with him, could be considered an NCAA violation. I would think cheering for a player at a game would be fine, but I honestly don't know about that. If you really want to know, I would advise contacting UT's compliance office.
