If Tennessee wants to get its football program back on track, a great place to start would be the addition of five-star safety Vonn Bell out of Rossville (Ga.) Ridgeland.

We would love to have him up here with the Buckeyes,but I agree with you,I think he's a Volunteer.He's a great kid and would be an asset wherever he goes.Best of luck to you guys on recruiting and I wish you the best in the coming season.Go Vols!

I wouldn't be surprised if Bama is out of room. They started breaking out the infamous "grayshirts" with some of their recruits last week....that's a sure sign that the games have started.

I wonder how much these kid's talk about where there going with each other, and if they did would they decide to keep it quite until NSD so they get there spot on espn. Maybe a silent verbal to the coach Vonn talked about getting to know the coaches and the guy's your comeing in with as reasons for who he signs with but how is that possible when so many 4 & 5 star guy's wait untill NSD to committ, just a thought but it seems possible.

Exactly what the best man in the business said himself. "Tim Watts" If he said thats what his contacts are saying then that is exactly how it happened. Im not here to say that UT didnt do a great job recruiting Bell, because they absolutely did, but we currently have a DB that is higher on our board than Bell regardless of "star" ratings. I also couldnt believe myself because I thought Bell was Bama bound.

Saban has been recruiting him for a while... No way he told Bell to take a backseat... Bama fans were 99 percent sure Bell was theirs just last week... Now he's not a priority? I just can't fathom that thought no matter who writes what....

I understand what you are saying here man but I can only say that I trust what the best recruiting contact guy in the 247 business says. It speaks volumes on how much Bama like Eddie Jackson and how tight the numbers are. We are currently recruiting Tony C too but he seems OM bound. Sounds like we are choosing 1 more DB and Eddie is the guy. Ofcourse that can all change in 24 hours just like anything else with recruiting.

Saban is a master with numbers for sure, cant explaiin it myself. I want Bell to come to Bama but if they like Jackson that much more then there is a reason. He must be legit.

Football players (even UT players, I suspect) live in dorms, eat, and go to class -- facilities world-class at VU. UT a nice school with a big stadium, indoor facility, and football amenities. If recruits look at total package, VU "facilities" swamp anything at UT. I hope he does care about facilities.

Np man. I like really want Vonn Bell in crimson(obviously not popular here) but it looks like unless our numbers game changes or we lose a recruit we think we will sign Vonn Bell will be wearing orange.
