After the Derrick Green let down, im hesitant about getting my hopes up, but dang it all, after reading that article it certainly seems like we are in the drivers seat with him..He's a huge vol fan, he has friends here, its a family atmosphere, he plays a position of need for us....i mean, what am i missing? If he is coming, i would love to see him announce ASAP to get the momentum rolling for us on other recruits..

That's the thing, though: I don't think Alabama's coaches see Jackson as a "diamond in the rough" or a guy that they would be taking a chance on. They just see him as a really good player — a five-star type of talent — who has all kinds of potential based on his one year of high-school football. And, again, Jackson isn't a three-star prospect on our site. He's a Top247 prospect, now ranked No. 157 nationally and the No. 5 athlete in the 2013 class by 247Sports.
