I am stunned. I was hoping Hurd would commit before NSD, but to commit before The O&W game? HUGE!!!!
If this staff can coach on game day the way they recruit, communicate, and inspire their players at practice, then UT is back, baby!
And I firmly believe that we play as we practice--in all aspects of life.
I said I would withhold judgment about Coach Jones until the season, because I had bought in to Dooley's talk and felt so disappointed that it didn't translate into his walk.
But I can't resist the feeling any longer. I LOVE this new staff that Coach Butch Jones has assembled! Vols!!

I love how these players from Tennessee are showing pride in their home state with the comments from Jalen Hurd, Todd Kelly and Robert Hubbs. I wasn't fortunate enough to attend UT (college in Alabama), but I am very proud to be a Tennessean and that's why I've been a Vol fan for 50 years. I think the dark cloud over our program is beginning to lift. 'Bout dang time!!!
