For the fire-Dooley crowd here it is the Hire Gruden fund.

  • In my honest opinion Gruden or Cowher are the only coaches that walk in and make us better by immediately signing a top 3-10 class this year if hired by December 1. They upgrade talent create excitement and probably win us a game we shouldn't win next year. They will want a staff of there own so most if not all on staff now are gone. Wes said $10 million for buyout and search committee then let's say minimum another $10 million a year for new salary. So I'm going to link a pay-pal account everyone who thinks we have to get rid of Dooley and win now please make your donation or at. Least pledge itin this thread. Can't wait to see how long it takes to get even a hundred thousand.

  • Lmao everyone who has read this board knows I'm probably the most pro-Dooley guy on the site. I made this as a joke and have 4 DVs already. Dooley is the answer he just needs time. I made this for all the fire Dooley people because it would be ludicrous to fire Dooley and hire Smart or anyone else. Maybe I should clarify.

    Gruden making 4.3 million this year. He works for 16 weeks or actually 1/2 weeks. Does he really want to quit that cush job and travel extensively to high school kids houses all over the country and recruit? Really?! Lets be real. Please.     Lol but no contribution. I might agree with you but Gruden is probably a better recruiter from day 1. Not directed at you atomic but it's easy to yell fire him when you don't have to pick up the check on buyout and hire new staff. One or even 2 more years if we aren't in the SEC race I'll lead the fire Dooly crowd. For now instill think he's the right guy.

    As I've said I want tokeep Dooley but you cannot name anyone else that would be a guaranteed winner from day 1. If we could hire a guarantee for 2 even 2.5 million I'd say the fire Dooley crowd would have something a little firmer to stand on. Right now just isn't the time because of available coaches and UT finances. I haven't given up on Dooley yet either.
