  • No team scares me more next year than Tennessee. With the receivers y'all have and Tyler Bray against the lack of experience in the secondary, yall can really expose them. What are yalls thought on the game?

If the core guys can stay healthy I would have to agree, but if we can't run the ball then we are in trouble again, but I do like our chances this year.

If, and that's a BIG IF, we can establish any kind of running game on offense, it'll be competitive.

welcome I'm not sure yet. If Tennessee doesn't find a running game, it's going to be hard for UT to compete against Bama. If the running game drastically improves tho... I don't know how UT doesn't outscore all of their opponents especially if CP makes the WR a trio.

  • Our offense is going to be our strong point and stopping the run of course. But our passing defense scares me.

I agree with the guys who have already posted. IT'S THE RUNNING GAME! I hope it is more competitive like UT/Bama should be.

I agree this is a big rivalry and it's my favorite.

I am just going to say this now, and hope i am not wrong. I think Vols have best offense i the league. I think Neal will be explosive at RB, and Lane is two years removed from the knee injury.

Having Tiny at Tackle and D.T. sliding to guard will make a huge difference, plus the addition of a new o-line coach that will be well received helps a bunch.

Then, i think we have six futue draft picks in our passing game: Hunter, Patterson, Da'rick, Rivera (sp??), Clear, and Bray.

Add in Vincent Dallas, Zach Rogers, Devrin Young, and Pig Howard (who i think can help early) and this offense could be unreal. Maybe i am just poopin sunshine cause it is early, but i love this offense. Thanks for stopping by, man.

Don't forget that both Croom and Patterson will be coming in as well this summer. I think that the quality and depth at WR will be among the best in the nation, if not the best. But as others have indicated, that will mean nothing if the running game isn't improved. Fortunately, the OL has some serious depth now, which will help overall. Personally speaking, I wouldn't make predictions one way or the other on the Tennessee-Alabama game at this time of year, because a lot can happen with both teams between now and October...

  • Nick Saben defense wins championships not a donothing dooley offense. You wont be able to run the ball and no depth on defense. Throw the ball 40 times 75 yards rushing spells another loss for the pumpkin patch.

All I can say is the Vols are closing the gap. Enjoy the ride while you can.
