A three-star junior athlete from Monroe, Ga., says Tennessee made a strong impression on him Saturday while he was in Knoxville for the Vols' first spring practice.

Think UT just needs a winning year for 2013 at UT will have many recruits looking there way in 2014.

I agree with the sentiment here, but we will probably have to look at more than just the W-L columns. This is a very tough schedule for 2013 and an all-new staff with lots of new players in skill positions. Of course, it will only help if we can rack up 8 or 9 wins. That would be huge...and shocking. However, even if we only manage 6 or 7 wins, we need to be competitive each and every game. We need to win the ones we are supposed to win and hang in there even if we are major 'dogs. Pop a few upsets and everything gets easier.

In other words, I am with you, but it means the Vols MUST upset a few teams. Anything's possible. Would love to do what A&M did last year and pop the Tide. Throw in the Gators and the Dawgs and the Vols would be strutting on the recruiting trail.
