I understand getting free trips to see college games but I feel much better when a COMMITMENT shuts down recruiting after they give their WORD.
Its not a stupid question until you ask it.

I like this kid. Good job on getting this commitment. Seems like he comes from a very nice family too. Anyone else from this kids high school we're looking at guys?

It may make several of us uncomfortable to hear prospects will take more visits, but we have benefited from that at times too. And I think a recruit should use his visits, explore his options, etc..before signing on the line and losing all his power.

Exactly. When else in your lives can you be treated like a king on the house? I never resent a committed prospect taking full advantage of all official visits. IMO, they'd be pretty stupid not to. A lot of these kids have never been anywhere before in their lives.

I agree. If I had the option, I'd commit (and honor it) to UT.
I'd take official visits to Hawaii, Southern Cal, Wisconsin, LSU and USF.

Yes I have seen the UCLA campus. Beautiful indeed.........For your safety, don't stray off the campus too far. Danger lurks everywhere. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

According to Danny Parker of FoxSportsNet this kid is vastly underrated and poised to jump way up the board in the next position rankings for recruits.
Will be a bigger boost for our team ranking than it is right now.
