Please don't mistake me for someone that throws out a lot of BS or hyperbole. Trae Golden is the best PG we have ever had. It's amazing the steps he's taken in the offseason to become this kind of player, starting with losing 20 lbs.

I always thought he was more of a combo guard....and he can score the ball very well. But his ability to drive the lane and set someone up for a layup is something we haven't seen in forever. Even CJ wasn't the type of PG to drive and dish to the open guy for a layup. CJ was more of a driver and kick out to the wing.

Trae already has a nice intermediate game. He's pulled up from 12-15 feet a few times already in the first 3 games. He's strong with the ball and can get anywhere he wants to against the defender.

We could see last year that he had terrific court vision but this is so much better than I expected. Can't wait to see this year play out with Golden running the team.
