the fans have spoken, they want gruden and nothing less. sure, he lacks college exp, but at this point this program needs someone with the carisma and ego that gruden brings to the game. there really is no other name that compares. gruden has family and ties to knoxville. that is the biggest asset gruden has besides his attitude. dave hart is going to scrutinize every candidate but at the end of the day the haslams have it right. they need a instant solution to bring tennessee back to prominance. gruden is the one that does that and they know that.
