UT already has a head start. Everybody and his brother knows that Dooley is gone and those coaches that have interest in Tennessee will have their agents contacting Hart. The only reason that Hart needs to move quickly is to try and hold this recruiting class together.

The question for coaches interested in coaching in the SEC is which job is more attractive - Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn or Kentucky? And possibly Vanderbilt if Franklin moves on.

As far as Gruden goes I read an article this past week that he is quietly contacting potential assistant coaches and gauging their interest in joining him on a staff next year. All of them are NFL types which would seem to rule out college ball.

Paul Domowitch is my favorite columnist in Philly... With that said I'd be be more surprised if Gruden went to The Eagles over the Vols. The Eagles run there team as a "business" they need a yes guy, a puppet who always says the right things and will never throw them under the bus. Gruden is not that guy. We just extended a GM Howie Roseman who is a complete idiot and he won't hire Gruden guaranteed.
