I'm a student here now. they all suck but congrats on getting accepted.

The most popular one when I was there from 2004-2008 was Reese. I lived in Hess which was not very good from a structural standpoint but it is my understanding that it has undergone a renovation. Hess is also centrally located and right next to the library. But Reese and the Carrick's are all bunched together with the main on campus food court being right there with obviously more students to associate with. I would absolutely see to it that you get one of these (Reese, North Carrick, or Hess) because they collectively are the best on campus. Hess is just down Religion Row from Reese and Carrick and butts up to the pedestrian walkway. Hess is better location for classes on the hill and the stadium, Presidential Court is better for T-Recs and AG campus.

Just want to say congratulations ans wish you the best. No clue where to tell you to live, but it looks like some of these guys can help out.

Avoid "Hess is a mess" (Community bathrooms, ew) and "No limit Clement" (stayed here for orientation, not impressed). Carrick (i stayed in South Carrick my Freshman year, the setup offers the most privacy, IMO) and Reese are good, Morrill isn't bad either (you can rearrange the furniture and it's basically in the same spot as the other two).

North Carrick (#1) or Reese... you want to be in the Presidential Complex. Granted it's the furthest from all the freshman classes on the hill, but I found all the walking helped minimize the freshman 15.

Carrick worked out great for me. Either way living in presidential is important because you are surrounded by other freshman and you have a cafeteria and subway and a mini market all in presidential court! A great place to meet other freshman. And you only share a shower and bathroom with only 3 other people instead of a whole floor.
