  • TJ Yeldon was 205 during his recruitment and checked in at 215 in the fall. A picture from different distances should not be the conclusive evidence that you work with...

    Most people have the cognitive ability to gauge relative size from photos with different perspectives. Proportion has something to do with it as well. He got guns out of nowhere and his thighs are ridiculous (just like Ingram's, Richardson's, and Lacy's)

    Good grief I guess Jamal Lewis was all roided up as a freshmen as well. Just sad and pathetic and I really wish Yeldon could sue you for making accusations you don;t have a clue about

  • One of my other sports passions is the Tour de France. If (as is likely) you have little experience, this is the most physically challenging sport I know. Imagine 21 back-to-back marathons including going through the Alps.

    So, drug use was pervasive, but they have made a huge effort to get it under control. But as was recently confirmed, there was drug use, then there was Lance Armstrong drug use.

    Noe go look at those Barry Bonds heads again. We are talking Lance Armstrong levels.

    No, Lewis had a big frame in high school, too. Yeldon didn't.

    have to with ya on this one GoVols2011....

    I was put on weight gainer my senior year in high school to play college ball. Gained 20lbs before getting on campus and then hit the weight room. I looked completely different within 3 months....

    I dont like it anymore than anyone else that Bama is destroying everyone they play(with the exception of A&M but we all know Bama 'knew' they had that game wrapped up and just didnt bother to show up and play)

  • UT had random drug testing about 1-2 times a month during my employment. However, this was an outside service, not necessarily by the NCAA itself, which does test for steroid use. Each school is different in how and what they test for. I would say bama is likely clean, but definitely cheating some other way biggrin

    LT left BAMA to go to Vols and we all know he doesn't EVER stop talking. Other coaches have gone to Texas, Florida, FSU, CSU among others and there has been NOTHING hinted at.

    How many players do you whine about being processed? And yet not a hint of anything has ever been heard.

    A little common sense goes a long way but as they say you cant fix stupid. Keep on with the excuses, lol.

    A great deal of Bama players are elite kids who excel when they get to the NFL (which has strict PED policy).

    Just don't buy the steroid argument.

    If I ran a law firm that could recruit all the bad ass lawyers across America, we'd win most of our cases. Same situation. No special tricks, just elite talents combining to a win at an elite level.

    FWIW, I still LOATHE Bama and want to see them lose every single game. Just want to make that clear. biggrin
